Terms of Service

Last updated: Oct 12, 2026 • CREDON Official Documentation

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase, registration, activation, and use of the Credon Emergency Tag, its QR-linked webpages, and related services (“Services”).

In these Terms, “Credon,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Credon brand and the service operating under that brand. “Customer,” “user,” “you,” or “your” refers to any person who purchases, registers, scans, or uses the product or Services.

By purchasing, registering, or using a Credon Emergency Tag or its associated Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

2. Description of the Service

Credon Emergency Tag is a physical QR-based product designed to help a person scanning the tag access an online emergency page and initiate a call intended to reach the registered emergency contacts of the tag owner.

Depending on the product status and available features, the emergency page may provide calling options and other information voluntarily added by the owner.

Credon is a communication aid. It is not an emergency response centre, ambulance service, medical provider, or substitute for contacting the appropriate local emergency services.

3. Registration and Activation

3.1. The owner must register and activate the QR tag using the registration process provided by Credon.

3.2. The owner's mobile number is required to create a profile. The owner's name is not required for profile creation.

3.3. At least one emergency contact mobile number is required to configure the family-calling feature. Up to three emergency contacts may be supported, depending on the available system functionality.

3.4. Blood group, medical information, and profile photographs are optional wherever these fields are available.

3.5. The owner is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that emergency contact details remain current.

3.6. A QR tag may remain inactive until registration or activation is completed. An inactive or deactivated QR code may not provide the intended functionality.

4. Emergency Contacts and Calling

4.1. When a person scanning an active QR tag selects the “Call Family” option, their device's phone dialler may open with a masked calling number pre-filled.

4.2. The scanner must manually press the call button on their device to initiate the call. Selecting the website button alone does not automatically place a call.

4.3. The scanner is not required to enter their own phone number into the Credon website to initiate this calling process.

4.4. Depending on the telephony provider's configuration, the system may attempt to reach the owner's registered emergency contacts and connect the call to the first contact who answers.

4.5. Successful calling depends on factors including network availability, device compatibility, the telephony provider, correct contact details, and whether the emergency contacts can answer.

4.6. Credon does not guarantee that a call will connect, that an emergency contact will answer, or that assistance will be provided within a particular period.

4.7. In an emergency requiring immediate assistance, users should contact the relevant local emergency service directly whenever possible.

5. Owner Responsibilities

By registering and using a Credon Emergency Tag, the owner agrees to:

- Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

- Obtain any permissions required to provide another person's contact information.

- Inform emergency contacts that they may receive calls initiated through the Credon service.

- Update or remove emergency contact details when necessary.

- Use the product lawfully and responsibly.

- Avoid using the Services to harass, deceive, impersonate, threaten, or harm another person.

- Avoid submitting unlawful, unauthorised, or deliberately misleading information.

The owner should carefully consider what optional medical information or photographs to provide, as information displayed on the emergency page may be viewed by people who scan the QR code.

6. Information Displayed Through the QR Code

The information visible to a person scanning the QR tag depends on the features available and the owner's profile settings.

Emergency contact numbers are intended to be used by the calling workflow rather than openly displayed on the public scan page. However, the availability of specific privacy protections may depend on the technical configuration of the service.

Owners should not include information on their emergency profile that they do not wish to make available to a person scanning their QR tag.

7. Product Price and Purchase

The indicated retail price for the current product offering is ₹249 per unit, unless a different price is clearly communicated by the retailer or otherwise lawfully applicable.

8. Defective Products, Replacements and Refunds

8.1. If a Credon Emergency Tag is defective, does not scan, or fails to function because of a product defect attributable to Credon, the customer may contact mycredonsupport@gmail.com.

8.2. Customers may be asked to provide a description of the issue, reasonable proof of purchase, photographs, or other information reasonably necessary to assess the claim.

8.3. Where a defect is verified, Credon will assess an appropriate replacement or refund, taking into account the nature of the defect, the circumstances of the purchase, and applicable law.

8.4. Change-of-mind returns are not offered as a standard policy, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed at the time of sale.

8.5. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or overrides any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

9. QR Deactivation and Profile Changes

Owners may update available profile information or deactivate their QR tag using the controls provided by Credon.

Deactivation may prevent future access to the emergency page or use of associated calling features. Owners should ensure that their QR tag remains active and their emergency contact details remain correct if they intend to rely on the product.

Credon may restrict or deactivate a QR code where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or other legitimate operational requirements, subject to applicable law.

10. Service Availability and Third-Party Providers

Credon may rely on third-party providers for website hosting, technical infrastructure, telecommunications, and call-masking services.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults, network interruptions, provider outages, security measures, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Credon does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal device compatibility, or continuous availability of every feature.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, conditions, and operational limitations.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

The collection and use of personal information through Credon are governed by the Credon Privacy Policy, available on the website.

Customers should review the Privacy Policy to understand how profile information, emergency contact details, optional medical information, and information associated with service usage may be handled.

12. Intellectual Property

The Credon brand name, logo, designs, written content, website materials, and other associated intellectual property are protected by applicable laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Credon materials without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Credon Emergency Tag is intended to facilitate communication during situations where assistance may be needed. It does not guarantee personal safety, emergency response, medical treatment, or successful contact with family members.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Credon shall not be responsible for failures caused by telecommunications networks, third-party service providers, incorrect contact information, unavailable contacts, incompatible devices, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including applicable consumer protection rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

Credon may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the product, Services, operational requirements, or applicable law.

Updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date. Customers should review the current version periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection legislation and other mandatory legal requirements.

Any dispute shall be handled by the competent courts, authorities, or forums in accordance with applicable law.
